Role: Newly recruited scout in the King’s Hood  

Appearance: Garrick is taller and broader than Talon, with a sturdy frame built more for  endurance than agility. His sandy blond hair is slightly longer and often tousled. His green eyes carry a sense of wonder—an openness to the world that contrasts sharply with Talon’s sharper gaze. There’s something approachable about him, a warmth that makes people trust him quickly. 

Personality: Garrick is driven by curiosity and a strong moral compass. He sees the world through the lens of faith and believes deeply in the King and the righteousness of their mission. Though he lacks Talon’s experience, he makes up for it with determination and insight. He has a natural way with people, making it easier for him to blend in and gather information. However, his kindness can sometimes be a weakness—he wants to believe the best in others, which could make him blind to deception. 

Background: Unlike Talon, Garrick doesn’t come from a military background. He was the son  of a merchant in Valorash and grew up hearing stories of the King’s Hood. When he was given the opportunity to join, he accepted, eager to serve something greater than himself. This is his first true assignment, and though he’s confident, there’s a part of him that wonders if he’s truly ready. 

Fighting Style: Garrick is a solid swordsman but lacks Talon’s precision. He relies on instinct and brute strength in combat, making him formidable in a head-on fight but less skilled in subtlety. 

Beliefs & Motivations: Garrick fights because he believes in the cause of light against darkness.  He sees the world as a battle between good and evil and wants to be on the right side. However, what they uncover in Ashmoore will shake his faith—and force him to question whether light  alone is enough to overcome the shadow.
