📖 Background: Born into a noble family in the coastal forests of Westwood, Seraphina’s early life was shaped by both beauty and hidden pain. After the death of her father, she fell into the care of a trusted uncle whose darkness was hidden beneath a mask of gentility. The trauma buried itself so deeply that her mind blocked it from view, fracturing her connection to memory and self.
Her mother, desperate to save her, sent her into the care of Maea Thalenwood, an old friend and healer. Seraphina now lives in Maea’s glade near the Well, drawing the dreams she cannot yet understand, watched over by those who hope she will one day find the courage to look within.
