Feeling overlooked, underappreciated, and burdened by years of sacrifice, he turned to greed. Aligning himself with the ruthless bandit Ralvik, Darion plotted to burn the granary, raid the vault, and disappear with Veilmoor’s wealth. His betrayal left the town reeling, and it was only through Eamon’s intervention that his plan was thwarted. Their final confrontation in the vault was a tragic collision of trust and justice.
