🔥 Aeris Coy’era
📜 Title: The Last Light of Eldara
🏛 Allegiance: The Sanctum of Elyon
🔮 Abilities: Healing Grace, Sacred Tongue, Visions of the Veil
🗡 Role in the Story: Martyr of the Light, mother of Syris, symbol of unbroken faith
📖 Background: Once a beloved priestess in the Abbey of Eldara, Aeris Coy’era lived a life of quiet devotion to Elyon. Her days were spent in prayer and compassion, a beacon of gentleness among the people. But peace was shattered when Durumbaak raiders fell upon the region, leaving destruction in their wake—and Aeris, defiled and broken, bore the lasting mark of their cruelty.
Shamed by her own people for a child conceived in violence, she was cast out from the abbey she once served. Imprisoned for refusing to abandon her faith—or her unborn child—Aeris gave birth in chains. Though her body weakened, her spirit never faltered. In the dark cell where her life ended, she whispered prayers for the child she could not raise, entrusting her to Elyon’s mercy.
Her soul was lifted beyond the veil, a light too pure for the world she left behind. Though gone, her love lingers like a hidden ember—one that may yet spark redemption in the child she bore.
🕰 First Appearance: Mohrvanna, Harbinger of Destruction, Episode 1, “The Fall of the Abby”
